Typhoid Fever

Caused By: Consumption of contaminated food or water infected with Salmonella Typhi bacteria.

Symptoms: High fever, weakness, stomach pain, headache, loss of appetite, and rash.

Prevention: Proper sanitation, safe handling of food, and vaccination.

Cholera

Caused By: Ingesting food or water contaminated with Vibrio cholerae bacteria.

Symptoms: Watery diarrhea, vomiting, and dehydration.

Prevention: Access to clean water, proper sanitation, and safe food handling practices.

Hepatitis A

Caused By: Consumption of contaminated food or water with the Hepatitis A virus.

Symptoms: Fatigue, yellowing of the skin and eyes (jaundice), abdominal pain, and nausea.

E. coli Infection

Caused By: Consuming food or water contaminated with E. coli bacteria.

Salmonellosis

Caused By: Consumption of contaminated food or water with Salmonella bacteria.

Listeriosis

Caused By: Consuming food contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes bacteria.

Norovirus Infection

Caused By: Consuming contaminated food or water with norovirus.

Symptoms: Diarrhea, vomiting, nausea, and stomach pain.

Campylobacteriosis

Caused By: Consuming food or water contaminated with Campylobacter bacteria.

Symptoms: Diarrhea, cramping, abdominal pain, and fever.

Botulism

Caused By: Ingesting food contaminated with the toxins produced by Clostridium botulinum bacteria.

Shigellosis
